The bike arrived well packaged and protected. The assembly process was straightforward and the instructions were simple enough to follow. Total assembly took me less than 30 minutes. I am 6’1″ and 205 lbs. I live in an area with a lot of really steep hills. This bike has no problem with me on it. I can throttle up the hill without any problems. My wife can ride up much quicker than me but she is half my size. The suspension on the bike is really great going over bumps or rocks is no problem. This bike has plenty of speed and is super easy to ride.

It is perfectly manufactured, the suspension is not adjustable, but like the geometry it fits me 185 cm and 85 kg perfectly. The 3.0 tires roll very well, I also have a Cube Bosch Cx and a 4.0 fat bike, you stop after 20 meters without power, the S 600 rolls like a street bike.
But, the electric supply, 3 levels: only front, only rear and all-wheel drive, the latter doesn’t help when going uphill, power supply is the same at the front and rear, the wheel spins. Uphill is only possible in rear mode.
First trip in preset Pedal + Electric, level 1 of 5, in 2 seconds to 35 kmh, the pedals activate the electric assistance in every mode.
Switched to pedal assist: now level 1: 18 kmh 2: 25 kmh 3: 34 kmh, i.e. the bike drives at this level and if you add a little more pedaling, the engine switches off, really stupid, you can’t slow down, even uphill the bike will travel 14 to 16 kmh in level 1. Without electricity it is level O, but it is easy to drive. Electric use takes about one turn of the pedal, but then it shoots off like a rocket, so if you’re hanging off-road, you can’t get away, and if you roll into a tight corner and turn the pedal in the middle, only with a crash helmet and protective clothing.
There’s a video on YouTube of a guy riding up the mountain without pedaling, so he only controls the bike with the twist grip. Shengmilo is friendly and answers emails even on weekends, but they don’t reveal how to set it up or what the 9 out of 18 programming settings that are not explained in the manual mean. I’ll give it a try, but only when the monsoon season is over here on the edge of the Alps.

One time charge allows the bicycle to go only 42 miles with pedal assist. Without a charge, it is very heavy and difficult to pedal. It is not useful for delivery.

I was concerned about a bike with 2 motors, especially 1000W motors. I was also worried about the batteries draining fast and potential front tire traction with a powerful motor up front. However, after taking this on a few trails and road rides my fears all went away. This bike is a blast, lots of power and the battery doesn’t go down at all. Front wheel traction was never a problem, and I ride in pretty aggressively in the dirt. It is a little heavy and that took a some getting use to, but the big tires make it much easier to manage and after a few hours of riding it I was very comfortable with it. I’m 70 years old and I’m going 50 KM/H on dirt roads and trails with no problems. . I remove the battery to reduce weight when I put it on my car rack. Lucky for me it didn’t bounce down the cliff and it was OK. So, be sure to lock the battery! Other than that, this bike has been a reliable blast.
