The bike has a light but very strong aluminum alloy frame, that is known to take all kinds of hits, without absorbing any damage. The frame has 5 layers of electrostatic paint, covering the aluminum.
The removable battery is placed directly into the frame body, which allows it to be bigger and carry more capacity. Therefore, MX21 has a 12.8ah battery, which is considered a LOT in the electric bicycle industry.
Because our engineers were not happy with normal tire behavior on rough terrains, we decided to mount the best 20″ fat-tire on a bike. It is very good on many harder terrains like snow, mud, sand, beaches, mountain terrains, swamps and so on. Any biker that tried a fat tire, knows that there is simply no better option. We decided to mount tire type CST BFT 20×4.0. for its strong grip and low resistance.
MX21 is powered by a powerful 48V and 500W brushless 75nm motor that offers a high torque, good acceleration, and top speed up to 40 kilometers per hour. Bike has also tons of other advanced featured like front and rear shock absorbers, what feels good and smooth while raiding on tough terrain and it supports weight up to 150 kilograms. The front light is also powerful, so the night ride is as good as it gets.
The gear shifter is an advanced 7 speed Shimano Gear with full Shimano parts.
MX21 system has three riding speed modes; Boost mode, where you no longer need to turn on the electric mode and is suitable for exercise. Second is the Manpower model, where you turn on the mode without twisting the handlebar instead of just gently pedal with feet to save energy and battery. Third is Pure electric mode, where you no longer need to pedal, instead just adjust the speed with your handlebar and enjoy the speed.

Ich habe nicht so viel Glück mit meinem MX21!
Ab Lieferung zeigte das Display nach kurzer Fahrt (1 – 3 km) den Fehlercode “E10”: dann blieb die Geschw.Anzeige eingefroren, man konnte die Anzeige nicht mehr umschalten von Ges.km auf Tages-km, Fahrzeit. Der Motor lief allerdings normal. Auf Reklamation beim Händler (E-Bay) wurde mir ein neuer Controller geschickt (14 Tage), der keine Besserung brachte. Darauf wurde mir ein neues Display geschickt, seitdem ist die Fehlermeldung verschwunden.
Die Bremsen quietschten beide jämmerlich, alles Aufrauhen der Beläge, Entfetten der Bremsscheiben brachte keine dauerhafte Besserung, erst der Austausch der Beläge im Fachhandel brachte Ruhe.
Die Teleskopgebel klapperte von Anfang an beim Überfahrengößerer Unebenheiten. Nach ca.400 km bemerkte ich, daß beim Bremsen mit der Vorderbremse das Vorderrad nach links auslenkt und der linke Holm sich nach hinten biegt. Als ich das beim Verkäufer reklamierte, antwortete er nicht mehr. Ich teilte E-Bay mit, daß ich wegen nicht behebbarer Fehler vom Kauf zurücktreten will. Antwort: der Verkäufer verweigert den Rücktritt!
Jetzt sitze ich da mit der defekten Gabel. Habe versucht, im Fachhandel eine andere, bessere Gabel zu finden, aber für die dicken Felgen konnte mein Händler bisher noch keinen Ersatz finden.
Zwischenzeitlich hatte ich das (sehr gut funktionierende) Schaltwerk gegen eines von Shimano getauscht, da das Original aus zu weichem Material besteht und nach jedem Liegendtransport im Kofferraum verbogen war und neu justiert werden musste.
Bin aber begeistert (wenn alles funktioniert) vom Fahrverhalten, Motor und Regelung. Nur die Bremsen könnten wirksamer und präziser sein.
